Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect on my first visit?
The Total Podiatry team will review your medical history, discuss with you the complaint that brings you into the office, and prepare you for the physician. This process may include obtaining vitals, X-Ray imaging, and briefing you on a handful of the items that the physician will be discussing with you in planning your care.
Are you accepting New Patients?
Yes, we are always accepting New Patients at all 3 of our area locations. Never hesitate to call our office to schedule an appointment with the office location nearest you.
How do I know if you accept my insurance?
At Total Podiatry we are in contract with many of the major insurance carriers including Medicare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Do you have an office location near me?
We have 2 convenient office locations located in Naples and Estero.
What if I have seen another podiatrist and am searching for another opinion.
SWFL is filled with highly trained Podiatrists. We understand that patients and physicians don't always see eye to eye when it comes to their care. We respect all of our fellow podiatrists but welcome any patients looking for a second opinion in regards to their Foot and Ankle conditions.
Do you have X-Ray imaging onsite?
Yes, we are equipped with digital X-Ray imaging onsite along with digital ultrasound to better serve our patients and to obtain a more precise diagnosis.
Can I bring prior imaging such as MRI/Xray/CT/Nerve/Vascular study to my appointment?
Yes, we love to see prior imaging such as the above mentioned as it helps provide needed context of an old injury or surgical procedure. On occasion depending on the severity of the injury we may require newer imaging to most accurately diagnose your condition.
